Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with electrical engineers and manufacturing engineers to comprehend design requirements and constraints.
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for switchgear products, such as circuit breakers, disconnect switches, busbars, and enclosures.
- Create engineering documentation, such as bills of materials, design specifications, and technical reports.
- Utilize EPLAN software to create 3D models and detailed drawings of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure components and ensure that designs meet regulatory standards and customer requirements.

Desired Criteria
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the field of switchgear or electrical equipment.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and design for manufacturability principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations applicable to switchgear design
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality designs and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
