Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing detailed switchgear project quotations and tender documents.
- Ownership of the pricing and design template document.
- Liaise with internal departments, particularly the estimation team working on material and labour requirements.
- Responsible for switchgear tender process and tender submission from enquiry through to submission stage.
- Review customer specifications, documents, and drawings to ensure compliance to tender requirements.
- Serve as a customer point of contact and generate requests for information where necessary.

Desired Criteria
- An electrical engineering background, with either an engineering degree or an electrical trade qualification (or equivalent), is essential.
- Experience working on tenders within the pharmaceutical, industrial or data centre sectors.
- Familiarity with the ABB and Schneider switchgear portfolio would be an advantage but not essential.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise own workloads and others.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Understanding the importance of meeting customer bid deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
- Excellent computer skills and competency in Office 365 applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Sage 200 preferable.
- Strong work ethic and commitment, ability to work in a fast-paced department.
- Flexible, willing and able to manage multiple complex projects at the same time.
